Leonardo 973-224-6693 or 973-347-0032 Stay blind to pride and be authentic There once was a man who was blind from birth! He owned a fruit stand on a very busy street. One day his only son came to him and told him that he read in the newspaper of a new discovery where they could operate on his eyes and allow him to see. The father and son traveled to the doctor and paid for the operation. The doctors asked the man after the operation, "What is the first thing you want to see when I take the bandages off?” The man that was blind from birth replied, "I want to see my beautiful fruit on my stand!" The Doctor and the son escorted the man that was blind from birth, down to the busy street where his fruit stand was located for so many years. He carefully unwrapped the bandages so that he could lay his eyes on the beautiful fruit! The man was so full of joy that he could finally see his life's work of taking care of his fruit! After a few hours of enjoying his beautiful fruit stand, he looked down the street both ways and saw there were quite a few fruit stands in both directions. He looked across the street and saw other fruit stands. He spent so much time looking at other people’s fruit stands he went out of business! God thinks of you, always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself. Almost every man wastes part of his life in attempts to display qualities which he does not possess, and to gain applause which he cannot keep. God loves the authentic people, be authentic.
