ADMISSION NOTICE
Applications in the prescribed format (available in the College Office and also in the college
website ) are invited from interested +2 or equivalent pass out candidates for admission to one year
Diploma Course in “Tourism and Hospitality Management” under Community College Scheme
at M.P.C. Autonomous College, Takhatpur, Baripada. The last date of submission of filled in
application forms along with supporting documents is 15-11-2014. Preference will be given to local
applicants of Mayurbhanj District. However, relaxation in respect of age and region of the applicant
may be given in the event there are available no adequate number of applicants from the locality for
the course. Students admitted in to the course will be given monthly scholarship of Rs.1000/each for 12 months. The disbursal of the scholarship is subject to regular attendance of the
students in the class. Selection of the candidates will be made exclusively on the basis of merit.
Merit list will be prepared by taking into account percentage (%) of marks secured by the
candidates in +2 or equivalent exams. Reservation Criteria as stipulated by the Govt. of Odisha will
be followed at the time of selection / admission of candidates. Implementation of the scheme is
subject to (i) admission of minimum 30 number of candidates and (ii) approval of the
designed syllabus by the NSDC, related Sector Skill Council and the UGC. For details log on
