ADMISSION TO MD/MS COURSES

1. Applications, on prescribed Forms, are invited from the eligible
candidates, for admission to MD/MS Courses, under Management
Quota, for the academic session 2015-16.
2. Eligibility
a) The candidate must possess MBBS Degree from any
Institution/University, recognized by the University of Jammu and the
Medical Council of India & registered with the State Medical Council/
Medical Council of India.
b) The applicant must have completed satisfactorily, One year Preregistration Compulsory Rotatory Internship, as laid down by the
Medical Council of India.
3.The Information Brochure-Cum-Application Form, can be obtained
by hand w.e.f. 6th March, 2015 on all working days, between 10.00
am to 3.00 pm from the office of the APUMDC at ASCOMS, Sidhra,
Jammu, on production of a Demand Draft of Rs.3500/- , from any
Nationalized or Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd. drawn in favour of
APUMDC of J&K C/o ASCOMS, Sidhra, Jammu, payable at
Jammu. If required by post, send a Demand Draft of Rs. 3550/-. The
last date for receipt of Application Forms, shall be 19th March,
2015 up to 3.00 pm. No Application form shall be entertained after
this date.
4. Admission Under NRI Category
a) For NRI candidates, separate Application Forms, can be
downloaded from the website : www. ascomscollege.com w.e.f 6th
March, 2015.
b) Such candidates shall have to appear in the Common Entrance
Test, to be conducted by the Association but their merit shall be
determined, separately.
c) Candidates, applying under NRI Category, need not to apply
under General Category.
5. The selection process, shall be supervised and monitored by, the
Chairman and Members of the Supervisory & Monitoring
Constitutional Statutory Permanent Committee, constituted by the
J&K State Government.
