Rotating Study Hall Period 3 today.
Thursday is a Blue Jean/Spirit Day for all students and teachers.
One Act Practice on Wednesday, October 29 will begin at 5:45 on the stage. We will be
off script on Wednesday, so start memorizing!!
There will not be daycare on Thursday, October 30th because of the football playoff
game. There will be daycare on Friday, October 31st with the early dismissal. Thanks!
Thursday Sacred Heart hosts the Emerson-Hubbard Pirates in the 1st Round of the D2
Football Playoffs. Game time is 4:00 played at Jug Brown Stadium. Admission is $5
for students/$7 for Adults.
Thursday we will run Bell Schedule B with all 8 periods running from 8:00-2:38. All
high school students will be dismissed at 2:15. PreK-8th Grade students will be
dismissed at normal times 3:10/3:23. Buses will run accordingly. From 2:41-3:23 the
7th and 8th grades will have study time until the dismissal bell rings.
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is sponsoring a National Scholarship for 1) 8th
Graders who will attend high school next year and 2) college graduates who are going to
study on a graduate level. For applications, see Fr. Oldham
PLEASE leave the stage set up as it is for One Act. We would appreciate it if you would
stay off the stage as much as possible especially after school.
4 Senior girls with drivers licenses are needed to deliver turkey dinners for the Turkey
Bazaar to shut-ins on Sunday, November 2 from 3:45 to 5:00 PM, please see Mrs.
O’Grady ASAP if you want to do this rather than work in the dining room.
Girls in grades 6th – 12th are asked to help in the dining room at the Sts. Peter and Paul
Turkey Bazaar on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Prichard Auditorium. All girls are
asked to help at their assigned times: Grade 6th – 3:45 to 5:30 PM, grades 7, 8, 9th –
5:30 to 7:00 PM and grades 10, 11, 12th -- 7:00 to 8:30 PM. All girls are asked to check
in with Mrs. O’Grady when arriving at the auditorium to work their shift.
The cost for Dance Team this year will be $25 each. Please have your money in by the
end of October. (Checks payable to SH)
Students grade 9-12, if you are interested in going on the March for Life, you will need
to speak with Mr. Goltz, Fr. Oldham AND your coaches regarding any school and





activities that you may miss. Actual sign up for the March for Life is on the diocese
website Lincolndiocese.org. See Fr. Oldham for more details.
As construction of the new Activity Center continues, all students are reminded to stay
clear of the work area especially the north gate. Please do not play in that area before,
during or after school.
Pocket Calendars for sale! The Class of 2018 is selling pocket and purse size calendars
with Sacred Heart Activities marked, as well as room to write in your own
appointments. Order forms will be sent home, and they’ll be available at home games—
only $4.00. Thank you!
