Senior Boys Basketball Tryouts There will be only ONE tryout for anyone interested in playing on the Sr. Boys basketball team. Eagle Wrestling rd Wrestling starts November 3 after school in the cafeteria - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Males and females st welcome – any weight size to 115 kg & 130 kg. Girls Varsity Hockey All girls interested in playing varsity hockey this year sign up at the PE office and make sure to take a permission form. The form must be signed before you will be able to step on the ice for the try out. There will also be a meeting Thursday morning at 8:30 am in the Aerobic Room, bring your signed form to the meeting. If you have any questions see Coach deJeu in the Phys. Ed. office. Senior Girls Volleyball All girls interested in playing senior girls volleyball there will be a meeting on Thursday October 30th in the aerobics room at 8:00 am. Please come out and play for a great school team, new players welcomed to tryout! Senior Boys Football The senior boy’s football team had a hard fought 21-13 victory over Huron Heights on Friday. Scoring touchdowns for the Eagles was Jack B. and Nolan P. with one each. Nathan M. had two field goals. The defense had an outstanding effort, getting 4 turnovers. The boys will play their final regular season home game this Friday at 3:00 vs. KCI. Be sure to come out and show your support! School of the Americas Trip to Georgia, U.S.A. It is held on Tuesday nights, starting on October 7 until November 25, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. You will be paired with a child in Grades 1 to 4, and help them with reading practice. If you are 16 years of age or over and interested in this great opportunity, come to the library and fill out a volunteer application form. You will be contacted for an interview.
