Target Audience Dietitians, physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers and other allied healthcare professionals. Target Audience Dietitians, physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers and other allied healthcare professionals. Objectives Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to: • Describe emerging evidence-based nutritional therapies for the highlighted gastrointestinal disorders • Discuss current knowledge of select gastrointestinal conditions • Review the healthcare system to support nutrition care of the vulnerable population PLEASE NOTE: Registration is not complete if you do not receive this confirmation. General Information Nursing The conference will be held on The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Main Campus. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. Registration fee includes course materials, continental breakfast, refreshments, lunch and parking on campus. This activity has been submitted to the PA State Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. The PA State Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Preregistration is required, and the deadline is Monday, Nov. 3, 2014. Payment must accompany the registration form for it to be processed. The group rate is $169 single and double occupancy plus a 15.5 percent room tax. Participants are required to make their own hotel reservations by calling the Sheraton directly at 215-387-8000. Please mention the name of the conference when making your reservation. The special room rate will be available until Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014. After that date, reservations will be accepted according to space and rate availability. Cancellation and Refund Policy The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to any unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation or postponement, Children’s Hospital will refund any registration fees, less a service charge, but is not responsible for any related costs, charges or expenses to participants, including cancellation charges assessed by airlines/travel agencies. In order to process refunds for course withdrawals, cancellations must be received in writing by Friday, Nov. 7, 2014. No refunds will be issued thereafter.
