Seniors: National Achiever will be in the student center on November 6 to pick up your graduation order forms
during lunch.
If you are a senior who has successfully completed CTE classes and been involved in CTE leadership activities, see
a CTE teacher for a Rotary CTE Student of the Month Application. Completed applications are due October 31.
Club Meetings: current clubs that have scheduled meetings are:
National Honor Society meets Tuesday at lunch in Room 912. New members are always welcome!
Chess Club begins its new season! We meet on Tuesday during lunch in Room 905.
Science Club meets in room 912 every Wednesday at lunch.
Disney club meets Wednesday at lunch in Mrs. Payseno’s room 410.
Sign Language Club meets in room 417, Mr. Rennie’s room, Thursday’s at lunch. We have lots of beginners, and
some very experienced students to help us all. So, come join Sign Language Club.
Native American Club meets Thursday at lunch in room 908
Disney club meets Thursday at lunch in Mrs. Payseno’s room 410.
Fashion Club meets on Friday at lunch in room 609.
Key Club meets on Friday at lunch in Room 914.
World Cultures Club is meets in Room 418 on Friday at lunch.
PAHS sailing team meeting on Friday, Oct 24th during lunch in Ms. Jackson’s room 108. We’ll be dining on pizza
SCHOLARSHIPS: Please see Ms. Hill in the Guidance Office for information and applications:
SENIORS: Information about Air Force ROTC Scholarships and academic requirements are available in the guidance
office. Applications must be submitted online by December 1, 2014.
Elks National Foundation 2015 Most Valuable Student Scholarship: Seniors can pick up the application directions
from Ms. Hill. Application deadline is December 5, 2014.
EWING C. KELLY SCHOLARSHIP: Applications must be completed and returned to the scholarship committee no
later than March 10, 2015.

SPORTS:
All girls interested in playing basketball this winter should meet in Mr. Poindexter’s room, 906, after school on Monday,
November 3, for a short meeting. If you can’t attend, see him or see Mrs. Rogers in room 116 before Monday.
Winter sports will begin with Gymnastics on Nov. 10 and Basketball, Wrestling, and Boys Swim/Dive on Nov. 17. IF
YOU HAVE PLAYED A FALL SPORT, the ONLY document required will be the inherent risk form for your
winter sport. IF WINTER IS YOUR FIRST sport, a full athletic package is required to get a clearance card. Please
provide proof of ASB purchase with the Athletic paperwork. Paperwork is available at PAHS Athletic office and PASD
