Blanchard NOVICE Tournament DATE: November 1, 2014 TIME: Wrestling begins at 1pm or at the conclusion of the open tournament (whichever is later). LOCATION: Blanchard High School (AJ Terrell High School) is located at 1440 N. County Line Rd, Blanchard, OK 73010 GATE ADMISSION: $3.00 Adults, $2 Students and Over 62, Under 5 free COACHES PASSES: Will follow new OKWA guidelines. Extra floor passes $15.00 (includes entry) ENTRY FEE: $15.00 per wrestler per division. Wrestlers may enter 2 divisions. Team must be paid for prior to start of tournament. (All wrestlers must be paid for, including no-shows and wrestlers not making weight.) Please make check payable to Blanchard Takedown Club. ENTRY DEADLINE: Thursday, October 30th at 10:00 pm. TOURNAMENT INFORMATION: Travis Williams, Tournament Director, 405-641-4406; Derek Sanders, 405-290-8194 WEIGH-INS: Friday, October 31st 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1st 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.; 10am – 11am (in wrestling room) NO WEIGHT ALLOWANCES Div. 1(6&Under): 37, 40,43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 60, 66, HWT* Div. 2(8&Under): 43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 75, 83, 90, 105, HWT* Div. 3(10&Under): 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 80, 85, 90, 100, 110, 120, 131, HWT* Div. 4(12&Under): 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 80, 84, 88, 92, 96, 100, 105, 110, 120, 130, 140, 160, HWT* Div. 5(15&Under): THERE WILL NOT BE A DIVISION 5 FOR NOVICE AWARDS: Medal s will be given for 1st through 4th place. There will be NO challenges for 2nd place. Rules and Regulations: Birth certificates will be required upon request. All divisions relate to age with a birthday cut-off as of September 1, 2014. Any age protest must be made prior to the start of the tournament. This is a double elimination tournament. We will use High School Federation Rules except for no headgear required and no one-hour rest. Referee decisions will be final. Brackets will be made Friday, October 31, 2014. We reserve the right to combine weights if necessary and medals will only be given for the bracket wrestled. All participants must have their own insurance. The Blanchard Public Schools and Blanchard Takedown Club assume no liability for accidents, injuries or theft. ALL YOU CAN EAT BREAKFAST FOR $5.00 (Pancakes, Biscuits & Gravy, Sausage, Bacon, Egg, Juice/Coffee) at Masonic Lodge located at 10th & Main in Blanchard. Proceeds benefit Blanchard Wrestling. Breakfast served from 7am to 11am. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Friday night weigh-ins or at the door Saturday morning.
