toothbrushes that are not individually-sealed in

The tab donations have been
very good. We will be making
another run to the recycling
center soon.

We cannot stress enough the importance
of the following two paragraphs:
Please remember to insert your name or your
group's name and address on all
items donated so we know to
whom we should send our thank
you. An identification should be
placed on every bag or box. There
is a form on the back of this
newsletter that could be used for
this purpose.
Also, we request that you do not
send cash inside packages of toys,
clothing, knitting, etc. Please
send all cash and checks to us by
mail or in person. Thank you.

A reminder for those auxiliaries
making Christmas stockings for the
patients at the hospital and clinic. All
decorations must be either hand or
machine stitched. Thank you for your
cooperation with this request.
We are very low on items for boys,
especially ages 10 - 16.
We are in need of cards for Target, WalMart, iTunes, etc. preferably in $10
amounts. We also accept fast food cards.

With winter upon us, the Mitten
Tree will become very popular with our
patients. We will need a supply of
mittens in all sizes -( especially medium
and large for the older children) to keep it
supplied.

Womens General Auxiliary News
We are in the process of stuffing
Christmas stockings. Please let us know if
you would like to help us in handing out
the stockings during the time period of
December 1 - 19.
We still need volunteers for the gift
cart. If you have thought about becoming
a volunteer, here is your opportunity to do
so. You can choose your days and hours.

get on the schedule.

You can donate to the Womens
General Auxiliary through your gift giving
programs with your employer. Some of
you have already donated through The
United Way. You will need our 501(c) 3
Federal ID # to do this, which you can
obtain by calling Gloria Kulenkamp at

disabilities. Jane and Tori are also
involved in a school reading program
wherein children read to Tori. This
program has proved to be very beneficial
for children who have difficulty reading.
Other News
OSMAN WOMENS AUXILIARY
For their October meeting, the
Osman Womens Auxiliary toured the
Gunderson House in Kenyon, Minnesota.
After the tour, the group had lunch in
the (newly renovated) Schweich Hotel in
Kenyon.

WISCONSIN VALLEY AUXILIARY
Wisconsin Valley Auxiliary had a
very busy summer. They held "Dine to
Donate" events at the following
restaurants:



Buffalo Wild Wings on June 16th
Texas Roadhouse on July 8th
Applebees on August 19th
The money raised was sent to WGA for
the Wheelchair Fund. What a great way
to enjoy a nice meal and raise money at
the same time.

The guest speaker was Jane Ward,
and her Helping Paws Dog, Tori. Jane
and Tori gave demonstrations on what
service dogs can do for people with
On August 14th eleven women
gathered at Grace United Church of
Christ for 3 hours in the evening to tie
blankets. They successfully tied 15
blankets which were sent to the WGA.

Through a fundraiser with Kohls
Department Store, they received a grant
for $500, which was sent to the WGA
Wheelchair Fund. They thank Kohls
Department Store for making the event
such a great, fun experience. They now
have special friendships with the 11
volunteers that gave of their time and
effort.
