My name is Kanna and I am a seven year old,
spayed female. I am a sweet girl once you get to know
me. I’ve been a little nervous here at the shelter and
may take some time coming out of my shell at my
new home. I would do best with older kids who are
respectful of my space. I get along well with other cats
and dogs, as long as we are all introduced slowly. I
love to play with my toys and would really like to
choose a scratching post that suits my needs the best.
When I like you, I’ll let out a little meow to get you
to pat me. I love scratches under the chin and behind
my ears. I would love to find a person that can give
me the patience and time I need to come out of my
shell. If you think you might be my forever home,
stop on by the shelter and ask to meet me!

at the Adoption Center located at 101 West Swanzey
Road just outside of Keene on Route 10 South. Business hours are Wednesdays through Fridays from
noon to 6 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are many homeless animals
at MHS that need loving forever homes. For more
