The Charles H. Kaman Neuromuscular Center at
HSC is the largest and most comprehensive
neuromuscular care and clinical research facility in
the state. The Center treats over one thousand
patients annually in one of four multidisciplinary
and specialized weekly clinics including the
Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Clinic for
Adults, MDA Clinic for Children, MDA/ALS
Clinic, and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
Association (ALSA) Clinic. The Center has a stateof-the-art EMG Lab, accredited by the American
Association of Neuromuscular and
Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Our Research and
Clinical Trials Unit, under the leadership of Dr.
Boguslawa Koczon-Jaremko, is currently active in
several large multi-centered clinical trials for ALS .
