for Children and Pregnant Women
This workshop will provide detailed
information on Virginia’s Health
Insurance Programs for Children
and Pregnant Women– FAMIS,
FAMIS Plus, Medicaid for Pregnant
Women and FAMIS MOMS.
It is designed to give community workers a
working knowledge of the programs, including:
eligibility requirements, application procedures,
and post-enrollment information. For those
already familiar with the programs, the workshop
will provide information on important recent
program changes.
Each participant will receive the
SignUpNow Tool Kit, a
comprehensive manual with
program information, forms, and
resources to use when working
with families.
