Classic Car Run
The Gordon Bennett Irish Classic Car Run is open to all vintage,
veteran and classic cars, motorcycles and commercials registered
prior to 1983.
Events
All events are non-competitive.
Day 1 – Friday, 29 th May, 2015
Civic Reception in the County Hall, Portlaoise
at 7.30 p.m.

Day 3 – Sunday, 31 st May, 2015
Gordon Bennett Route
This day will involve cars assembling at Treacy’s, The Heath, Portlaoise and giving the opportunity to drive the original Gordon Bennett Route. The run is 104 mls/166 kms with an optional run of
74 mls/118 kms and will start at 11 a.m. There will be a number of
stops and refreshments en route. Run ends at The Gandon Inn for
Presentation of Plaques and Complimentary Meal (Drivers Only).
Day 4 – Monday, 1 st June, 2015
Participants will have the opportunity to take part in The Gandon
Leisure Run starting from Treacy’s, The Heath at 11 a.m.
Day 2 – Saturday, 30 th May, 2015
Laois Heritage Run
There will be a run covering the Laois Heritage Trail on this day.
Assembly at Treacy’s, The Heath, Portlaoise at 10.30 a.m. and rally
will commence no later than 11.00 a.m.
Gala Dinner, Saturday Night 8.00 p.m. - €25
Special offer for this 4-day festival, which gives you a choice of

Indemnity
I have read the regulations governing the Gordon Bennett Irish Classic Car
Run and agree to be bound by them. In consideration of my entry,
I agree to save harmless and keep indemnified Gordon Bennett Irish Classic
Car Run, and the owners and lessees of any lands used for the event and
their respective officials, servants, representatives or agents demands in respect of death of or injury to or loss or damage to the person or property of
myself, my driver(s), passenger(s) or mechanic(s) as case may be howsoever
caused arising out of or in connection with my taking part in this event notwithstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by
the said bodies, their officials, servants, representatives or agents. Furthermore, in respect of any parts of this event on ground where the Third Party
Insurance is not required by Law, this agreement shall in addition to the
parties named above extend to all and other competitors and their servants
or agents. Further I agree to act in accordance with the instructions of the
officials of the event.
I confirm that the vehicle with which I participate will be fully covered by
insurance for my participation wherewith for the whole period of the event
in accordance with the Road Traffic Acts.
All entries will be at the discretion of the organising committee.
