The ESTP Paris offers a large variety of programmes at different levels
• a two year construction site manager
• a one year bachelor degree in construction site management (with Cnam)
• international master’s degree in Nuclear Civil Engineering
• “diplôme d’ingénieur - master’s degree”, with 5 possible specializations:
Building Engineering / Public Works / Topography-Geomatics /MechanicalElectrical Engineering / Energy Efficiency in Buildings
• one year professional specializations after a master’s degree leading to
an institutional diploma “mastère spécialisé” in topics linked to construction, real estate, BIM, ...
• PhD degrees

Research
The ESTP Paris research activities are carried out in the framework of the
“Constructibility Research Institute”.
«Constructibility» being defined as the “Study to optimize, right from the
design of a project, the best construction or rehabilitation strategy for the
civil engineering works or buildings. It takes into account the construction
data and parameters and past experience to achieve the objectives and
optimize the means, the costs and the delays. « To do more with less ».”

The Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics, du Bâtiment et de l’Industrie (ESTP
Paris) was founded in 1891 as a private higher education institution and
officially recognized by the State in 1921. ESTP is habilitated to award
national diplomas and degrees by the Ministry of Higher Education and
Research and since the founding of national authority “Commission des
Titres d’Ingénieurs” in 1934, to award the engineering degree “diplôme
d’ingénieur”. Since November 1999, the non-profit-making association
ESTP is closely associated with another, state-owned, French « Grande
Ecole », Arts et Métiers ParisTech. In 2010, the ESTP Paris joined the higher
education & research cluster (PRES) UNIVERSITE PARIS EST.
Distinctive features are: close links to industry, strong international relations, emphasis on equal opportunities & sustainable development.
Strengths
In France, the ESTP Paris trains the biggest student flow for the construction
industry (40.000 alumni, 28.000 in activity) • intensive courses & weekly refresher courses in French as a foreign
language

Location
A seven hectare campus at Cachan (in the inner suburbs of Paris), where
teaching and research activities are organized
The Cachan campus is on the direct line of express trains, the «RER B»,
which directly connects the Roissy Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports and
the Gare du Nord.
