Kauffman Seeds was started in 1965 by Edward Kauffman as an Alfalfa seed cleaning business. In 1972 Jerry and
Lois Wyse started taking over the business from Lois’s dad. At that time certified wheat was added to the business.
In the middle eighties saw the introduction of Soybeans both in production and processing. Seed wheat, alfalfa, and
soybeans were the mainstay of the operation. In 1995, Midland Genetics was formed as several seed companies
joined forces to launch a breeding program to get ready for the introduction of Roundup Ready Soybeans. Corn,
Grain Sorghum, and Forages were added to the selling lines all under the Midland Genetics brand name. In 2005
Tom Clayman and Dustin Miller purchased Kauffman Seeds from Jerry and Lois Wyse. The current ownership has
maintained the business as it was and has added cover crops to facilitate more of our customers’ needs.

Genuity® VT Double PRO® RIB Complete® Corn Blend is a blend of 95% B.t. seed and 5% nonB.t. seed. You get all the benefits of Genuity® VT Double PRO® Corn Blend, plus the convenience
of 5% non-B.t. seed, interspersed in every bag. Genuity® VT Double PRO® RIB Complete® Corn
Blend provides the broadest spectrum of above ground insect protection, two modes of action
against corn earworm, and 5% non-B.t seed built right in, the lowest in the Corn-Growing Area. It
also contains the first double-stacked trait with dual modes of action for above ground insects and
maximum protection against corn earworm.

Genuity® VT Triple PRO®
RIB Complete® Corn Blend
Genuity® VT Triple PRO® RIB Complete® Corn Blend offers farmers dual modes-of-action for
protection against above-ground insects, a single mode-of-action for corn rootworm protection
and herbicide tolerance. The single-bag is a blend of 90% insect-protected and 10% refuge
seed, contains herbicide tolerance, a single mode of action for corn rootworm control and dual
modes of action for above-ground insect protection - including corn earworm, fall armyworm
and European and Southwestern corn borer. It is a great fit in geographies experiencing low to
moderate rootworm pressure.

Roundup Ready® Corn 2 contains in-plant tolerance to Roundup® brand herbicides, enabling
growers to spray Roundup® brands over the top, from planting through the V8 stage or 30inch corn height, with excellent crop safety and no yield reduction. Compared to popular
conventional corn programs, the Roundup Ready® Corn 2 system costs less, while allowing
hybrids to reach their maximum yield potential. While the U.S. regulatory agencies have
given full approval to Roundup Ready® Corn 2 for commerce in the U.S. for marketing and
consumption as food, food ingredients and feed for livestock, certain regulatory approvals are
pending in certain export markets. For more information on these approvals, or for assistance

Before opening a bag of seed, be sure to read and understand the stewardship
requirements, including applicable refuge requirements for insect resistance
management, for the biotechnology traits expressed in the seed set forth in the
technology agreement that you sign. By opening and using a bag of seed, you are
reaffirming your obligation to comply with those stewardship requirements.
Respect the Rotation™ is an initiative to elevate the importance and grower adoption of
herbicide diversity to prevent or manage weed resistance. Glyphosate weed resistance
is a dominating threat throughout the United States that affects land values, rental
