The best way to enjoy Lima and its history. � Our
excursion offers Lima’s best attractions in its three
historical periods: pre-Hispanic, colonial and modern.
ANCESTRAL LIMA: We start our tour with a panoramic view of the “Pucllana Pyramid” a magnificent ceremonial and archeological center built in the 4th
century a.d. and considered a “Sacred Village” by the
Incas. �The Viceroyalty of Peru was the most important
of the Spanish Empire and Lima was its capital.
COLONIAL LIMA: We visit the Historical Center of
Lima, where you will appreciate more than fifty monuments and Colonial edifications, such as the Paseo de
la Republica, the San Martin Square, the Main Square,
the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the
Cathedral Basilica, and the City Council Palace
amongst others.
We will visit the MUSEUM OF THE BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA*, where we will admire the “Treasures of Peru” collection, a fine selection of objects
made of gold, ceramics and textiles from different
pre-columbian cultures.
We will visit the monumental SAN FRANCISCO
CONVENT, which displays the largest collection of
religious art in America. Our highlight will be the visit
of the underground vaults, known as “Catacumbas” or
Catacombs. �
CONTEMPORARY LIMA: We will visit traditional
residential areas of Lima, such as El Olivar of San Isidro,
Miraflores and Larcomar.
*Museum of the “Banco Central de Reserva” is closed
to the public on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Mondays closed all day.��

MUSEUM
Come and meet the most famous collection of gold in
Peru.��
Visit the Peru Gold and Weapons of the World
Museum for a first-hand experience of pre - Hispanic
times where, in addition to finding items of gold, there
is a great variety of textile mills, fabrics made of
feathers, glass, huacos and ceramics representing the
customs of the people.
You’ll also get to see some of the mummified characters that still exist today as well as find various regional
weapons and soldiers’ uniforms from 1,200 b.c., with
horse saddles, spurs, armours and other important
items that made history.
You will develop an awareness of what Peru and the
rest of the world was like in ancient times when you
explore our large exhibits and digest the tour.

CITADEL
OF PACHACAMAC
A unique archaeological and mystical experience: the
oracle, temples, palaces, �Myths and legends.
ANCESTRAL SHRINES�
Our excursion begins with a panoramic view of the
“Pucllana Pyramid” built in IVth century a.d., and considered as a “sacred village” by the Incas.
PACHACAMAC ORACLE�
We will then have a guided tour through the splendid
and vast archeological site of the Pachacamac Oracle,
also known as the temple of the deity. The old Andean
civilizations believed Pachacamac was the creator of
the universe.
The citadel is comprised of temples, pyramids and palaces, such as the “Temple of the Sun”, the “Temple of
Pachacamac”, the “Acllahuasi” or “Palace of the Virgins
of the Sun”, amongst others.The whole area was considered holy and part of the mystical axis of the world.
BARRANCO AND THE SWAMPS OF VILLA �
Our tour includes a visit to the bohemian district of
Barranco, where we will see the “Puente de los Suspiros”. We will continue towards “El salto del Fraile”, the
Swamps of Villa and delight in some spectacular sights
of the Pacific Ocean.

NATIONAL MUSEUM OF ARCHAEOLOGY AND

we will see the famous stone monuments from the
formative age (1000 b.c.), the “Estela Raimondi” and
“Tello Obelisk”.In its various rooms we will see the
most important collections from the pre–ceramic

PALOMINO
ISLANDS
Palomino Islands are a group of small islands that lie off
the Constitutional Province of Callao in Peru. They are
home to a large population of seals and seabirds, and
have become a touristic area.
The journey starts from Callao towards San Lorenzo
Island through an area called The Camotal (which is a
part of Callao which sank in colonial times), reaching
almost to the center of the island of San Lorenzo, continuing to the Isla El Fronton, then heading to the Palomino Islands located at the back of San Lorenzo and El
Fronton. At this point you can swim with the sea lions
(after coordination with the guide).

HORSE
A national tradition, turned into people´s pride.
Our tour takes place in a typical “Casa Hacienda Los
Ficus” (Peruvian Hacienda House), located in the

Located in Lima, Caral's 5,000 years of antiquity, place
Peru inside humanities five cradles of civilization, along

represents the most ancient civilization in America.
Our expedition to Caral will allow you to know all its
secrets through our guides-archeologists, specialists in
the history of this wonder.
Located at 200km north of Lima, Caral represents
different monumental constructions among which are
a set of eight truncated pyramids, sacred and public
artifacts, the altar/temple of fire, the central plaza, the
residential space and the religious centers.
All of these constructions were of a ceremonial
matter and dated at about 5,000 years old. This places
Caral as the oldest civilization in America.
Our expedition includes traditional lunch in the city of
Huacho and view of the archeological space of "Bandurria", presenting different monumental sectors as
the sacred plaza, pyramids, among others. "Bandurria"
is just as old as "Caral".
