The focus of this seminar is to discuss the different aspects of a business plan, including strategic marketing and financial projections. Learn first hand from our consultants how to set up your business plan and make it the best it can be! The seminar will address marketing segment concerns such as: product definition, targeting, competitive analysis, marketing strategy and media outlets. The course even provides an understanding of basic financial statements. Another objective of this course is to help participants develop and test a “Business Pitch” for a new business or a new project within an existing business. As a participant you’ll learn to organize and improve all the essential elements of a business plan! This seminar explains the program, what businesses qualify and the benefits to HUBZone certified companies. Doing Business with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania The Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS) purchases more than $4.5 billion in goods and services each year and establishes procurement policy/ procedures for most Commonwealth agencies. This introductory seminar will show you how to prepare for what is often, a long-term marketing effort. Learn how selling to government agencies can present the opportunity to grow or diversify your company’s revenues. You will learn fundamentals of doing business with government, necessary registrations and certifications, sources of information and business resources, and working with the Commonwealth of PA.
