Entry fee $6 per player paid at the door. Please register in advance to speed entries at
the door. Advanced registration [email protected] or (217)-778-3334. Please
include the number of teams and a lineup for the players. It is easier to remove players
than add them so list any possible player. There is no cost to withdraw players before
round 1. USCF memberships not required.
Time control game 55 with 5 second delay. Registration 8 – 8:30 am team not checked in
by 8:30 will not be paired in round 1. Round 1 at 9 am other rounds as soon as possible.
Varsity is 5 player team versus team play. Prizes to top 3 teams and top three
players on each board. Teams seeded by last years state standings.
Junior Varsity is 5 player team versus team play. Prizes to top 3 teams and top
three players on each board.
You must enter a varsity team before entering a JV team.
Individual event for players without complete teams. Prizes to the top three
individuals
To reach the University of Illinois
travel east on I-74 past I-57. Exit
right at Lincoln Avenue. Continue
south to Green Street and turn right
(west). Memorial Union is the
large building on the left with the
circle drive.
Parking
Be careful with the two parking
lots to the East that you do not park
in the church parking lot.
Participants should park in
University lots.
These lots are free on the
weekends. The lot immediately
next to Memorial Union is reserved 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
There are many food choices located within walking distance.
