Please note: Changes to ESNZ rules mean that all riders entered in classes 1 – 7 must be a full member of ESNZ to
compete at this event. First year of full membership is free. Horses can compete in classes 3 – 7 on a $5 Casual Equine
Registration (plus a $15 Eventing Flexi Start for classes 3 & 4). Riders in class 8 can join on a free Community

Entries must be in the hands of the secretary by 5pm Wednesday 4th February 2015 & if mailed, must be on official ESNZ forms.
All incorrect entries will be returned. Entry fees MUST be paid by close of entries date. Draw will be available on
www.equestrianentries.co.nz & www.nzequestrian.org.nz from Wednesday 11th February 2015. Only send SAE if you DO NOT
have internet access.

Every Northland competitor is required to supply a XC jump judge. Please provide name & contact phone number.
All classes are open to horses and ponies as per the rules of ENZ.
Junior & Young Rider age rules apply to classes 4 & 6 as per ENZ rules. Junior Rider = until end of calendar year they turn 18
(i.e. Born 1997 or after), Young rider = until end of calendar year they turn 21 (i.e. Born 1994 or after).
Horseworld Junior/Young Rider series. Graduated Points system to eighth place in classes 4 & 6. Automatic entry to series when
entering relevant classes. See ESNZ website for details of series & points. To be run over the Spring & Autumn Northland Horse
Trials.
Prize money will be paid out at a ratio 1:5 starters. Prize money may be substituted with sponsor’s prizes to the value of or part
thereof.
Dogs must be on leads at all times. Elimination of relevant rider, if this request is ignored.
Late entries, if accepted, will incur a $10 late fee & will NOT be refundable. Refunds must be applied for in writing & received
by the Event Secretary within 7 days of competition, with a SAE. For 80% refund, scratching must be received by 8.30am
Thursday 12th February 2015.
The organising committee reserves the right to alter the program as required.
Administration Fee: $15 per rider. Non-refundable.
Camping/Pens: Camping on grounds available at no charge. Yards $10 per horse for the weekend.
Approximate Timetable: Saturday: Dressage starts 8:00am, Showjumping TBA.
Sunday: XC commences 8-30am
Prize giving: Prizes will be available for collection from the Secretary's office 30 minutes after FINAL results have been
posted, EXCEPT first 3 placegetters in the Horseworld Young Rider Series, who must be correctly attired & winner to
have horse in hand to be presented prizes at conclusion of event.
Scratchings: Eventing NZ Rules - Article 646 will apply.
