payable to Puketapu Pony Club c/- Kim Matches, 1337 Glengarry Rd, RD 2, Napier 4182.
All Entries to include full entry fee or they will not be accepted.
NO PHONE ENTRIES.
Late entries accepted at the discretion of the Event Secretary. A $20 late fee will be incurred and no
refund given.
NON PONY CLUB RIDERS MUST COMPLETE A CASUAL MEMBERSHIP FORM.
Allow 5 working days for postal entries.
Neither the organizers or any person acting on their behalf accept any liability for any loss, damage,
accident, injury or illness to ponies, horses, riders or others.
ALL COMPETITORS AND SPECTATORS ENTER THE GROUNDS AT THEIR OWN RISK
Rules & Conditions of Entry – PPC ODE 2015 - Run under NZPCA rules
1. The organising committee reserves the right to change the programme, classes may be split or altered if
necessary.
2. Only horses entered in the ODE to be on the grounds.
3. No stallions allowed to compete or be on the grounds.
4. Horses or Ponies under 4 are not allowed to compete.
5. NO DOGS on the grounds under penalty of disqualification.
6. All Pony Club members MUST wear PC uniforms, adults & non PC members may wear jackets.Gear checks
compulsory for all phases.
7. SAFERY INSPECTIONS:
Class’s 1 – 5 Compulsory for all phases
Class’s 6 – 7 Compulsory for Cross Country phase only
Class 8
Random Inspections will be carried out
8. NZPCA approved safety helmets must be worn for all phases.
9. Callers permitted in Dressage phase for Class 1 – 3.
10. A whip no longer than 100cm for ponies and 120cm for hacks including the lash may be carried in the
Dressage phase for Class 1 – 5.
11. Medical Armbands must be worn for all Jumping phases.
12. Body protectors are compulsory for the Cross Country phase.
13. Combinations who have been placed first, second or third in six events of that level or higher must move up to
the higher level or ride in that level with 10 penalty points.
14. Scratching; 50% refund is given if notified before closing, online fee will not be refunded Scratching after the
closing date requires a vet or doctors certificate. A 50% refund will be given.
