Summary:
The Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of Steven Smith, 45, of Daly City and Anthony White, 23, of San
Francisco, for the alleged strong-armed robbery of a 22 year-old man from the Sacramento area. The robbery
occurred Monday night at the entrance to San Bruno Mountain County Park in North San Mateo County, after
the victim accepted a ride and was driven to the entrance of the park by the suspects. In a combined effort
involving the Sheriff’s Office Millbrae Patrol Bureau, the Sheriff’s Office North County Investigations Unit and
the Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit, Smith and White were identified, located and subsequently
arrested in the one hundred block of Olcese Ct. in Daly City. Both men were booked into the Maguire
Correctional Faculty; Smith on 170,000 bail and White on $160,000 bail.
