BLACK(FF) 27th January 2015 Timing: 1900 hrs Portraying the richness of Islamic culture and heritage we present to you an awe inspiring collection of architectural marvels comprising of seamless blends of Muslim, Hindu and Persian architecture from India. Plot summary: The cathartic tale of a deaf, mute and blind girl, and her teacher who brings a ray of light into her world of BLACK. INDO-JORDANIAN PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION 65 Years Of Cooperation Capturing the essence of dynamic relations between India and Jordan we take you to a walk down the memory lane of our ever accentuating relations. 27th January 2015 – 3rd February 2015 The exhibition timings will be 0900hrs to 2000hrs VENUE: Royal Cultural Centre, Amman In collaboration with the Culture Ministry of Jordan BHARATNATYAM 27th January 2015 Venue: Main Theatre, Royal Cultural Centre Amman. Timing: 1830hrs VENUE: All movies will be screened at Main Theatre of Royal Cultural Centre, Amman An elegant, enigmatic and classical dance from the mesmerizing land of south India. Performance Details: Artist: Ms. Neeta Ashwin BOLLYWOOD FILM FESTIVAL-2015(FF) Timings: Daily show at 1830 hrs, except ‘Black’ on 27th January which will be screened at 1900hrs. All movies will be screened with English Subtitles Bollywood movies depict the diverse milieu and vibrance of Indian culture along with manifesting various hues of Indian Society which is a paradigm of unity in diversity. MUNNABHAI M.B.B.S (FF) 28th January 2015 Plot summary: Murli Prasad Sharma is a local goon in Mumbai popularly known as 'Munna bhai'. He has kept his real identity secret from his parents, who think that their son is a doctor. But Dr. Asthana comes to know about Munna's real identity, reveals it to his parents and humiliates them. Heartbroken, they leave for their hometown. Munna swears revenge upon Dr. Asthana and embarks upon a fun packed journey of getting an admission in a medical college to become a doctor. 3. BAGHBAN (FF) 29th January 2015 Plot summary: An elderly couple wish their children to care for them in their old age. But their children see and treat them as a burden, and they have to struggle to regain their worth and dignity. 4. TAARE ZAMEEN PAR (FF) 1st February 2015 6. MANICHIRATHAZU(FF) 3rd February 2015 Plot summary: A husband and his wife go back to their native village, and decide to settle down for a month, in a deserted palace. The wife decides to open up a locked room, which is supposed to be haunted. Things begin to fall apart as unnatural events take place inside the palace, several black magicians and ghost busters are sought for, with no result suddenly a psychiatrist enters. Plot summary: An eight year old boy is thought to be lazy and a troublemaker, until the new art teacher has the patience and compassion to discover the real problem behind his struggles in school. Venue: King Hussein Cultural Centre, Amman Timing: 1800 hrs IQBAL (FF) 2nd February 2015 Plot summary: Iqbal, the deaf and mute son of a farmer, has a passion for the game of cricket and seeks the tutelage of washed-up, alcoholic ex-player.
