LETTER
FROM THE
PASTOR
Dear Parish Family,
A warm welcome to you, our faithful parishioners
and all who may be joining us today for Mass. Please
know you always have a home at the Church of Saint
Mary!
BAPTISM OF THE LORD: Today, the Church
celebrates the Solemnity of the Baptism of the Lord. This
feast has a two-fold nature: Jesus institutes the Sacrament
of Holy Baptism and He begins His Public Ministry. Let us
all renew our Baptismal commitment as followers of Jesus.
Interestingly enough, today also concludes the Christmas
Season. We will be taking down our Christmas decoration
this week.
ANNUAL APPEAL and CENSUS: The Annual
Appeal and Census for Saint Mary Parish is very important.
It helps us keep accurate records for our parish. The
Archdiocese of Philadelphia asks all parishes to submit
their census that is accurate and up to date. Would you
please help me by returning your census form? In addition,
the Annual Appeal helps us address capital projects that
are not within the scope of our annual budget. I am grateful
for all you do for this great community of faith. If you have
not yet made a donation to our Annual Appeal I humbly ask
if you can kindly do so for the needs of our parish. Thank
you, once again for your love, kindness and thoughtfulness
to Saint Mary Parish!
MURALS: The three Murals for our Church are
"scheduled" to go up by Easter Sunday! Our new artist is
Neil Carlin. He is an excellent artist who does fantastic
work in Church artistry.
Our Murals are:
THE
ANNUNCIATION, THE CORONATION and OUR LADY OF
ANGELS. Mr. Kit Lee will be hanging our Murals (2 murals
on the Sanctuary wall and 1 mural on the Vestibule wall).
We are still looking for donations of any size for this project.
Please call Mary Beth O'Connor at the Parish House.
MASSES and MEMORIALS: We are accepting
Masses and Memorials for 2015 in the Parish House.
Please stop by and one of our receptionists will be happy to
assist you!
PARISH WEB SITE: Please check our Parish Web
Site at www.churchofsaintmary.org It is user friendly. I am
grateful to Lisa Roberts, Web Site Administrator for doing
such an excellent job. Please make us one of your
favorites!
TRADITIONAL LATIN MASS: will be offered here
at The Church of Saint Mary on Wednesday, March 25 at
7:00pm. This is the Solemnity of the Annunciation (9
months before Christmas). Please pass the word to family
and friends!
GOD'S HOUSEKEEPERS: We are looking for
parishioners and friends of Saint Mary Parish to help clean
our beautiful church. Usually, every Thursday after the
9:00am Mass we gather to vacuum, dust, windex and clean
pews for the approaching weekend. If you can help any
Thursday please stop by; we would love to see you!

World Meeting of the Families Prayer
God and Father of us all,
in Jesus, your Son and our
Savior,
you have made us
your sons and daughters
in the family of the Church.
May your grace and love
help our families
in every part of the world
be united to one another
in fidelity to the Gospel.
May the example of the Holy Family,
with the aid of your Holy Spirit,
guide all families, especially those most troubled,
to be homes of communion and prayer
and to always seek your truth and live in your love.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, pray for us!
