Ladies Bible Study on Monday 19 January at 9.30 am, studying 1 Samuel 1:12:11 The Deacons’ Court meet on Tuesday 20 January at 7.30 pm SUNDAY 18 January 2015 MORNING WORSHIP Rev John NIcholls Proverbs 1 & Matthew 12: 38-45 ‘Wise and Otherwise: Re-discovering the Book of Proverbs’ There will be a meeting of Lunch Club Leaders on Tuesday 20 January at 1:40 pm On Wednesday 21 January at 7:30pm we will be hosting a special ‘Welcome Home’ meeting for Alistair and Jenny Wilson which is being organised by the Free Church Foreign Missions Board. This is an open evening for friends from other Free Churches in the area. Soup ’n’ Pudding Fundraiser Lunch – Jack MacKinnon – Vine Trust - We give you all a warm welcome to a Fundraiser lunch on Sunday 25 January. This is in aid of Jack MacKinnon’s working trip to Peru with the Vine Trust in July 2015. The soup ’n’ pudding lunch will take place in the church café after the morning service. We would be grateful if you could please fill in sign-up sheet at reception to help with catering. Old Testament Overview Classes - there are 12 classes to be held in the Highland Theological College, Dingwall on Wednesday afternoons from 2-3.30 pm commencing 28 January, led by Rev Hector Morrison. All welcome; no need to book; suggested donation of £5 per class. See notice board for more details. Smartie Tubes - these have continued to come in and have now raised £696 which have been split half each to Release International and Barnabas Fund. Thank you for all your support. The BIG Spring Sing will take place in Smithton Church this year on Friday 20 March at 7.30 pm . Tickets £8. See poster for further details.
