10. Returned checks or post dated checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The
Show Secretary will add a collection fee of $35.00 to the amount of each returned
check. Subsequent returned checks for the same exhibitor will result in their being
put on a CASH ONLY basis. The returned check MUST BE MADE GOOD by cash or
money order BEFORE the dog will be allowed in the ring.
11. Entries not on official AKC Entry forms and photocopies of entry forms without
the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are

will not be delayed. Dogs need only to be present for their judging. Dogs not
needed for further judging may be excused. Owners of dogs or the handlers of the
dogs alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. This
means it is not the responsibility of the ring steward, nor any agent of the showgiving club to locate any dog, its owner or handler. Waiting for dogs is a courtesy
extended to owners and handlers. There is no American Kennel Club or club rule
requiring a judge to wait for an owner or handler to enter the ring.
13. Owners must familiarize themselves with the agreement of the American
Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany
this premium list. Rule books may be obtained from A.K.C., 5580 Centerview Dr.,
Suite 200, Raleigh, NC 27606.
14. The club, its Show Secretary or their employees will not be responsible for the
loss of or damage to any dog exhibited, whether the result of accident or other
cause and in addition assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury
sustained by an exhibitor or handler. It is distinctly understood that every dog at
these shows is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during
the entire time the dog is on the show premises.
15. Rio Salado Vizsla Club, Inc. does not agree to arbitrate claims set forth on
official AKC entry form for this event.
16. Dogs which according to their owners’ records have completed the
requirements for a championship after the closing of entries for the show but
whose championships are unconfirmed, may be transferred from the regular
classes to the Best of Breed Competition, provided this transfer is made by the
Show Secretary at least one half hour prior to the start of the earliest judging at
the Show.
19. There is no provision offered for unentered dogs at this show. PUPPIES
UNDER SIX MONTHS OF AGE ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED FROM THE
SHOWGROUNDS.
21. Trophies, prizes and cash will be awarded in the judging ring before the
completion of the classes and breed to the person showing the dog. The Show
Secretary is to be advised at once, in the event of any discrepancy. The Secretary
and the Rio Salado Vizsla Club, Inc. disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the
judging of the breed is over. All trophies must be claimed the day of show. None
will be mailed.
22. Do not leave any dogs in closed vehicles. All persons attending this dog show
hereby waive any claim for damages against the club, its members or agents in
the event a vehicle must be entered in order to rescue a dog from overheating or
suffocation due to improper ventilation.
23. THIS IS A SELF CLEANING SHOW. PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG
24. The welfare of an exhibitor’s child is the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is
expressly understood that the exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over
their children at all times.
25. No practicing allowed in rings at any time.
26. Due to confined spaces, flexi-leads are not allowed on the show grounds.
There will be designated areas for crating and exercise. The names of the
owners/handlers must be attached to each crate. Owners/handlers will be responsible
for their dogs, and will be asked to relocate them elsewhere if their dogs cause a
nuisance by barking or disturbing other exhibitors.
