Deputy Warehouse Operations Manager

Operations Manager.
Your tasks:

Planning and coordinating warehouse operations
Monitoring and prioritisation of the incoming and outgoing orders
Monitoring the storage space (and stock levels)
Monitoring the packaging demand and execution of the regular packaging inventory
Support and execution of the daily business of the department in all aspects
Contact person for the shift and group leaders for daily business topics
Contact person for WMS topics in the warehouse
Data maintenance in the WMS and booking of potential modifications
Periodically check of the compliance of all processes and locations with legal, health, safety and clean environment requirements
Monitoring, analysis and improvement of all processes in the scope of quality and performance
Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient warehouse administration
Execution / organisation of staff training
Lead and support logistical projects
Create decision paper and documentations
Maintaining statistical records
Preparation and execution of regular meetings in the department
Assist the Warehouse Operations Manager in all aspects of work
Your profile:
• Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or similar field or, alternatively, successful finished apprenticeship / intensive trainings in the
previous mentioned field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in handling logistic- and supply chain processes
• First experiences in leading warehouse operations and staff in a similar position
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written. German language skills are an advantage
• Good Math and IT skills (advantage who has experience in WMS, Navision or similar systems)
• MS Office skills
• Good managerial skills
• Good planner and organizer
• Good team worker
• Interpersonal skills
• Advanced communication skills
• Able to work under pressure/working with deadlines
• Forklift license (would be an advantage)
