Texarkana Independent School District Request for Proposal for Football Equipment and Supplies Proposal Due by 1:30 P. M. Thursday, February 5, 2015 The Texarkana Independent School District is requesting proposals for football equipment and supplies to be used during the 2015-2016 school year. The following criteria will be used in determining the vendor to award the contract to: a. b. c. d. e. f. g. h. i. the purchase price; 30 points the reputation of the vendor and of the vendor’s goods or services; 15 points the quality of the vendor’s goods or services; 20 points the extent to which the goods or services meet the district’s needs; 5 points the vendor’s past relationship with the district; 5 points the impact on the ability of the district to comply with laws and rules relating to historically underutilized businesses; 5 points the total long-term cost to the district to acquire the vendor’s goods or services; 5 points for a contract for goods and services, other than goods and services related to telecommunications and information services, building construction and maintenance, or instructional materials, whether the vendor or the vendor's ultimate parent company or majority owner: (A) has its principal place of business in this state; or (B) employs at least 500 persons in the state of Texas; 5 points any other relevant factor that a private business entity would consider in selecting a vendor. 10 points Total possible points 100. Vendors should submit their proposal to the Texarkana Independent School District by 1:30 P.M. Thursday, February 5, 2015. Vendors should include information relating to how they can best serve the interest of the district. Any information that a vendor feels would help us in awarding this proposal should be submitted. All information requested below should also be included in the proposal. Information relating to warranties of the requested items and delivery time after the receipt of the purchase order should be included with the proposal. The Proposal should be signed by an authorized agent of the entity proposing. Any reference to brand name is to show the level of quality only. Products of similar quality will be considered. Price proposed should include all shipping and handling charges to our location at 1600 Waterall. FOB Destination. Texarkana ISD reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive technicalities, and award the proposal to best serve the interest of the District.
