As part of September’s National Hunger Awareness Month, we want you to
show your community spirit and join Team Tiger for the showdown of the
season as TISD vs. TASD in the second annual TexarkCANa “Kick Hunger”
Bowl supporting Harvest Texarkana.
As the reigning CHAMPIONS, our goal is to collect more than TASD
and beat our last year efforts of 39,250 pounds.
The school district collecting the most pounds of canned food will be named
“Champion” during half-time of the Texas High vs. Arkansas High game
on Friday, September 9.
