period.

THIS WEEK!
One of our students, Emma Favre, along with our own Student Council, is coordinating a CANNED FOOD DRIVE this week
to feed the less fortunate in our community!
Bring in all the canned food you can (no expired dates on
cans, please) between now and this Friday, November 6th, and
we’ll donate them to The Nourishing Place. This is the same
wonderful organization who coordinates our “backpack buddies” program here at school. They will use the food to help
feed needy families this Thanksgiving. The class who brings in
the most cans will win a POPCORN PARTY!
...that EACH grade level will
present a MUSICAL PROGRAM this year? That’s
right! YOUR child will perform for you and the entire
school community at some
point this year (**3rd**
grade
performs
next
week!).
FOOD will be
served following each performance!

RED RIBBON WEEK was an absolute BLAST, thanks to the coordinated efforts of our guidance counselor,
Mrs. Dowling, and our entire faculty
and student body! On Friday, many
donned their favorite costumes
(including the staff, as seen here). If
an award for “originality” were given, it would have to go to Mrs. Marchese and her students for depicting
CLASS DOJO MONSTERS...AMAZING,
GUYS! Thanks to everyone for a
GREAT week!
CONGRATULATIONS to our wonderful fourth graders, their teachers,
and of course, the “dynamic duo”
maestros themselves, Mr. Ford and
Mrs. Crosby, for a GREAT show this
past Tuesday!
We had a great crowd of proud
parents and family at our evening
performance, and the supper provided by GRACE MEMORIAL BAPTIST
CHURCH was an All-American
HOTDOG SUPPER that satisfied everyone. Grace Memorial, we THANK
you for your generosity!
Stayed tuned for MORE great musicals throughout the year as EACH
grade will present a show before the
year is out!
