FORBES-KUCHCINSKI NUPTIALS
Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic
Church was the setting for the wed­
ding on Thurs . Oct. 22nd., when Miss
Emilia Forbes became the bride of
V T . Stanley Kuchcinski in a double
ring ceremony. The bride was given
in marriage by her father and was
attended by Mrs. Gina Duri. Boatman
was Vito DeMitri Robert Duri was
organist. A reception was held In
the Church Hall following the cere­
mony. The bride and groom left on a
trip to Vancouver and will make their
new home at 216 Smith Street.
Nettie Hood is home again. We think
she will stay for a while this time
and we are pleased to report that
her arm is all better after a nasty
break in June.

WANTED - Scraps of knitting wool and
knitting needles. The Brownies are
going to learn how to knit. Their
first project will be a blanket, to

and the Brownies will pick it up.
The Annual General Meeting of the
Cassiar curling Club was held in
the Club Lounge on Sunday afternoon
Nov. 1st at which time a new slate
of officers were elected. The meeting was well-attended and it Is
hoped that the club will enjoy a
good year of curling and good fellow­
