General Information
The Ritchie County 4-H Grounds are located off Route 16,
in Harrisville, Ritchie County, West Virginia. Route 16 intersects
U.S. Route 50 at Ellenboro, West Virginia, approximately half-way
between Parkersburg and Clarksburg, West Virginia.
North Bend State Park, approximately five miles from the
sale site, offers excellent accommodations for both meals and
rooms at modest rates for consignors and visitors.

The sale will commence promptly at 12:00 PM EST. Lunch
will be served prior to the sale at a reasonable cost.

Terms and Conditions
1. PAYMENTS: Terms of the Sale are Cash.
2. OWNERSHIP: Cattle are the property of purchaser as soon as sold, but
will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk.
3. DISPUTED BIDS: The auctioneer will settle any dispute as to bids.
4. HEALTH: All cattle offered for sale will meet the health requirements for
intrastate transportation. Individual health certificates will be issued on
the day of Sale. All cattle and calves that do not originate from Certified
and Accredited Herds will have passed a negative tuberculin and brucellosis test within thirty (30) days prior to Sale date.
5. PAPERS: A certificate of registry and transfer will be furnished for each
animal sold within a reasonable time after the Sale.
6. LIABILITY: Each animal will be at the buyer’s risk as soon as sold, but
will be cared for, for a reasonable length of time.
7. BULL GUARANTEE: Bulls are guaranteed breeders if cared for properly.
8. COW GUARANTEE: All females are guaranteed to be breeders. Females
reported as BRED are guaranteed to be safe in calf. Those reported as
served are believed to be with calf but not so guaranteed. OPEN
heifers have not been served. All cattle not pregnant must have been
vaccinated for the strain of leptospirosis within the past year prior to
sale.
9. GUARANTEE: The above terms and guarantees shall constitute a
contract between the seller and buyer. The Ritchie County Polled Hereford Assn., Inc., assumes no liability, legal or otherwise. The owner is
responsible for any statements or announcements regarding his consignment in this sale. Any announcement made from the auctioneer’s
stand during the Sale will take a precedence over any part of this
catalog.

The 9001W daughters are certainly raising calves and milking. Five Star and Haught Brothers have many
in production and will testify that these girls really grow and turn into very productive cows. We calved out
a group of Wrangler calves last spring. They are super gentle and you can hardly tell them
12 apart. They show a lot of growth and still maintain that feminine look with great muscle
expression. These Wrangler daughter easily make true 2 yr-old cows. Sells open.

This heifer is sired by our Revolution son we purchased from Knoll Crest Farms in
2013. She is one of the heifers from his first calf crop. We are pleased with the
way this group of calves look, and the way they are growing through the winter. A
beautiful balanced heifer, easy doing, with lots of volume. Very smooth in the
front quarter. Revolution 4R heifers are making great replacement cows in herds

Stella 22C is an extremely feminine, straight-lined heifer that patterns very much like her T-Bone
dam. She shows excellent early udder development. Her granddam, 15N, is one of the oldest
