CHILDREN from a St Helier day care
centre surprised parents and audience
members with a special rendition of
the hit song Let It Go at the end of their
Nativity play this week.
The three- and four-year-olds from the
Giraffe Group of the Nestling Day Care
Centre performed a traditional Nativity,
with the addition of Santa Claus, at the
St Helier Methodist Centre in front of
parents, grandparents and friends.
But the audience was treated to a
surprise twist at the end as the children
sang their version of Demi Levato’s Let It
Go, made famous by the new Disney film
Frozen.
Katie French, nursing officer at the
day care centre, said it was the sixth
year that they had organised a nativity
performance. ‘It was really good and the
children all sang really well,’ she added.
‘Our little twist at the end was great, a
really a nice touch.’
