As Baby Boomers move toward retirement, they are faced with the challenge of
passing the torch to younger generations who see the world differently, which
can lead to frustration and conflict. This seminar takes a values-based
approach to understanding and dealing with generational differences in the
workplace.
Our presenter, Dr. Sean Lyons, is an international expert on generational
differences and draws on 15 years of experience in research and consulting on
the topic. Dr. Lyons has published on the topics of gender and generational
value differences. He is a frequent speaker on generational differences in work
values and attitudes, and has presented keynote addresses to a variety of
companies and government departments and agencies. His research has been
featured in the Globe & Mail’s Report on Business, the National Post, the Ottawa
Citizen, the Financial Post, the Business news Network, as well as on CBC Radio
and CBC’s “The National”.
