Welcome also to our new students, Aurora Mitchell-Jensen, Ally Lochhead (Room 1) and Lilly Perkovich (Room 2). Also welcome back to Mrs. Morgan and Mrs. Attwood into Rooms 5 and 6 respectively. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year. Horror of horrors I spent much of mine in our overgrown patch of weeds that I can now call a garden. I did get time though to relax, knock off a couple of books, see all my kids, have some café coffees and enjoy the amazing weather. But now we are all back “into the swing” and we are looking forward to the exciting and interesting year coming up. I have sent notices home for those children who would like to play touch rugby. Remember, these need to be returned by Monday 9th Feb. We have an exciting term ahead of !"#$%#&'#($)$*# “I Can Do It!” us. The same morons no doubt also tried to tear off the hoop on our standalone goal but only succeeded in breaking it. Also missing were 2 of our seating forms – can you believe that? If anyone out there has any information about this, please ring the school or contact Donna at the Police Station. Your help would be much appreciated. The Home and School Association has its first meeting of the year next Tuesday (10th Feb) in the staff room starting at 7.00pm. ALL WELCOME. A reminder that tomorrow is Waitangi Day and school will be closed. We are open Wednesdays 9 - 12 and Thursdays 12 - 3pm. It's a relaxed group with morning tea & stories on Wednesdays and trips after lunch to music on Thursdays. The kettle is always on and we'd love to see new faces join us.
