Rabbit Hole Team
Our Founders, Deb and Pete,
FOUNDERS
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
have operated the Reading Reptile in Kansas
City for more than 25 years. In that time,
through its innovative programming,
partnerships, advocacy, and tireless creativity,
the Reading Reptile has become a literary
institution for families and educators
throughout the community, while achieving a
national reputation as one of the most respected
children’s bookstores in the country.
As founders and co-directors of The Rabbit
Hole, they bring a wealth of knowledge and
experience to the table, along with a wellestablished network of connections, both local
and national, uniquely suited to the project.
They will be able to build upon these assets to
Sonja

create an unprecedented experience in Kansas
