Conventions You Should Know - Group 2 with Susan Bates (B/I) – Monday 10am-12pm Starting March 2nd
Do you know the basics and are ready to expand your repertoire? You will learn the next group of
conventions and techniques to improve your game. Topics will include; New Minor Forcing, Fourth Suit
Forcing, Responses to Overcalls, Opening Leads - ‘The Real Story’, Endplays, Slam Cue Bidding, and Uppercuts.

Become a Better Declarer with John Pelletti (B) - Monday 10am-12pm Starting February 23rd
OK. Now that we are bidding more...we have to now work on taking more tricks! This course will focus on
the fundamental play techniques including counting losers, long-suit development, finesses, trump
management and more!

Modern Bidding with Juanita Chambers (B) – Tuesday 10am-12pm Starting March 10th
Still playing the “Goren Method” and ready to update your bidding? Or, finished the Intro class and want
reinforcement? This course includes both constructive and competitive bidding. Learn the new methods of
hand evaluation to get you on the road to winning more game and slam bonuses!

Lunch & Learn with Susan Bates (B) – Tuesday 12:30pm-3pm Continued
Join your fellow bridge players for some supervised shuffle, deal and bridge play. Come alone, bring a partner
or an entire table. If you would like, bring lunch and play while you eat. This is a great opportunity to practice
what you are learning in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Cost= $8 BPM / $12 Non-BPM!
