As part of our social skills programme and
encouraging positive behaviour at Sacred Heart, we
are reminded of our Peace Wheel. Each week, we
focus on a section of our Peace Wheel and a
specific action. Thank you to our Year 5/6 students
for preparing and presenting role plays at assembly
which relate to our Peace Wheel. Students receive
a raffle ticket if they are demonstrating positive
behaviours linked to that aspect of the Peace
Wheel.
Last week’s raffle tickets winners were: Ruby King
and Jacob Russell. These students were allowed to
sit on a VIP chair during assembly and received a
Tuckshop voucher that entitled them to an ice block
or a drink at the Tuckshop – well done!
If you are not already aware, students from PrepYear 6 have formed Family Groups and will sit in
them during Assembly. The intention of these
groups is to encourage communication between all
students at the school and foster a sense of care
and concern for all who attend Sacred Heart School,
whilst giving our Year 6 students more leadership
responsibility. In a few weeks, we will share a picnic
lunch together – we’ll keep you posted!
We wish Gideon and Aiden Webster the best of luck
this Friday, as they represent our District at the
Regional Swimming Carnival in Miles. I am sure
they will do us proud!
Have a fantastic week!
Miss Crawford.

Performance Postcards
The teachers at Sacred Heart will be
beginning a new communication with parents
through a Student Performance Postcard. This
is a way for teachers to communicate with
parents about positive work their child has
been doing. These will be conducted on a
fortnightly basis and will be sent home with
your child’s Links. As this is a new initiative,
each child should receive one by the end of
the year.
Parish Fete Raffle Tickets
Some Family’s will receive raffle tickets
for the Fete. Could Tickets & Money be
back at school by Wednesday 11th
