EEN Iniziatives at Expo 2015 Milan (Italy), 1 May – 31 October 2015 Title of the presentation | Date |‹N› Expo 2015: an Innovative Universal Exposition • From 1 May 2015 to 31 October 2015, Milan will host the Universal Exposition, whose central theme is “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”. • Expo 2015 is an extraordinary opportunity to promote the Enterprise Europe Network, as 20 millions of visitors are expected during the six opening months. • As the European Commission requested, a first proposal for EEN initiatives has been prepared, exploiting the synergy with other activities and events already planned in Milan during Expo. Title of the presentation | Date |‹N› Expo 2015: EEN Brokerage Events With the aim of giving visibility to the results of applied research and innovative research projects of the agro-food sector in Lombardy, an International Conference will be held on 5 May 2015 and involve international experts as speakers. Moreover the international EU-CELAC Summit will take place in June 2015 and missions from North America and from South East Asia are planned in July and September. This service will be delivered through the b2match website designed for the EEN activities • To ensure continuity in the EEN presence at Expo, a presentation of innovative technologies (selected from the POD Technology Offers and from the results of research projects funded by the European Commission) could be offered to the European Commission area visitors, using multimedia tools and equipment.
