Comprehensive Approach to cyber roadMap coordINation and develOpment Cyber Security Mobile, Mobility and Cyber Security CAMINO’s 2nd Experts Workshop 3rd March 2015 Barcelona, Spain This project has received funding from the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement no 607406 1 CAMINO consortium is pleased to invite you to the 2nd CAMINO workshop, which will take place in Barcelona, on 3rd of March, 17-21h. CAMINO workshop will be organized simultaneously with Mobile World Congress (http://www.mobileworldcongress.com/), the world's largest annual gathering of mobile and related. This 2nd workshop will mainly address issues related to "Mobile, Mobility and Cyber Security". Organizing this workshop in Barcelona, the European benchmark in Smart Cities, and during the MWC, brings CAMINO the unique opportunity to gather in our workshop a large number of European and world stakeholders in mobile, both technology and regulatory fields. The envisaged format will be short speeches (10-15min each), organized in 3 sessions, on topics related to "Mobile, Mobility and Cyber Security". The main objective of this workshop is to present CAMINO project, its achievements and objectives, and in particular the first version of CAMINO Roadmap in order to obtain valuable contributions from the mobile communications experts attending MWC. The outcome will thus help towards the clarification of the various interpretations, commonalities, and differences, thereby paving the way for a more structured and well‐founded approach to future Cyber Security roadmaps and initiatives, including research and technology, education and training, ecosystems and standards. Besides invited keynote speeches, the workshop will include: Presentation of CAMINO report on First Draft Cyber Security Roadmap Life demonstrations of LBASense The event will take place in Happy Rock Bar (Plaza España) where we will organize a speaker corner and the presentations will be displayed simultaneously on all the screens. We plan to host an interesting and fruitful workshop (we expect about 150 persons) and we will offer tasty Spanish tapas and beer!!! Particularly renowned are the architectural works of Antoni Gaudí and Lluís Domènech i Montaner, which have been designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The headquarters of the Union for the Mediterranean is located in Barcelona. The city is known for hosting the 1992 Summer Olympics as well as world-class conferences and expositions and also many international sport tournaments. Barcelona has the dynamic and open personality so typical of Mediterranean cities. It is the perfect city to relax in, stroll around and enjoy. Please find it at http://mobile-mobility-and-cybersecurity.eventbrite.com Workshop: March 3rd, 2015 ABOUT CAMINO PROJECT: CAMINO is the Coordination and Support Action titled "Comprehensive Approach to cyber roadMap coordINation and develOpment", a European research project in the security domain "Developing a Cyber crime and cyber terrorism research agenda" funded by the European Union's 7th Framework Programme. The two-year project commenced on the 1 April 2014. The CAMINO Consortium comprises ten partners from eight European countries: ITTI Sp. z o.o. and Police academy from Poland; Everis Aerospacial y Defensa S.L. and S21SEC Information Security Labs S.L. from Spain; Sec-Control Finland Ltd. from Finland; DFRC AG from Switzerland; Espion Ltd. from Ireland; CBRNE Ltd. from the UK; The National Research Council CNR from Italy, and University of Montpellier from France. There are also 22 supporting members including overseas external experts. CAMINO is led by ITTI, and is coordinated by Dr. Michał Choraś. In April, the Consortium celebrated the project kick-off meeting in Poznań (Poland). All partners were present and actively participated in specific sub-group working sessions aiming to better define the further workplan and the actions needed to meet the project goals. The CAMINO main strategic objectives are as follows: 1. Initiate long-term activities with the aim to provide a stable EU platform of security research experts and organisations. CAMINO will prepare the guidelines, its professional community's recommendations and a comprehensive research roadmap for the European Commission regarding fighting cyber crime and cyber terrorism. CAMINO is offering a long-term EU cyber research platform with the cyber security "think tank". CAMINO is already strongly linked to the EU Integrated Mission Group for Security (IMG-S) Cyber Security Thematic Area (TA7).
