PROPOSAL TO CLOSE STREETS TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
Brass Band Parade
SATURDAY 23 May 2015
Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is
hereby given that for the purpose of conducting the Brass Band Parade, the Westland
District Council proposes to close the following streets to ordinary vehicular traffic
indicated hereunder.
Closures are to be a rolling event between 10.30am and 12 midday Saturday 23 May 2015.
Parade Route commencing at 10.30 am – rolling closure is as follows:
Start – Department of Conservation building, Sewell Street turn left into Hamilton
Street, Hamilton Street to Revell Street, Revell Street to Weld Street.
Please note: The parade will conclude at the Carnegie Building after travelling the above route.
During the proposed period of closure, access will be provided in an emergency.
Any person objecting to the proposal is called upon to lodge notice of their objection and the
grounds thereof in writing before 4.00 pm Friday 20th March 2015 at the office of the:
