Working as a part of our Information Technology and Telecommunications team, you will gain valuable insight into the business of computer systems and technology. You will be involved in finding new solutions and making sure that the many devices in the airport community are consistently working together. What will your primary responsibilities be? Assist YYC’s Chief Information Officer with the 2016 capital budgeting and strategic planning Assist IT Service Management with process implementation and documentation Develop and update server documentation and schematics and deployment documentation Update workstation software and user instructional material Research new technologies and provide written analysis and recommendations Analyze IT system requirements and identify problems What will you bring to this role? Academic background in Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Computer Science Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Visio and Access Strong documentation and technical writing skills Strong organizational skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication Excellent time management and interpersonal skills Prior client facing experience is considered an asset Note: Students must be returning to school (post-secondary or high school) in the fall to qualify for this position.
