As a part of our Information Technology and Telecommunications team, you will enhance your technical knowledge and skills in a unique airport environment. This role will provide exposure to the daily system operations of an international airport in the midst of a massive expansion. What will your primary responsibilities be? Manage & support Terminal and Airside Operations Systems Perform inspections and audits of Communication Rooms throughout the airport Provide ongoing support for Technology Service Requests (TSR) and coordinate the requests Audit server and networks infrastructure providing recommendations based on best practices Act as a point of contact with various departments and individuals on behalf of IT Create and update documentation including forms, manuals, processes, and procedures Assist with the coordination and management of various IT projects involving networks and airport systems What will you bring to this role? Academic background in Computer Science or Information Technology with a focus on infrastructure and/or applications Enrollment in an Internship or Co-op Program at an accredited post-secondary institution Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Visio and Access Entry Level Knowledge in Server and Network Systems and other industry standard IT systems Strong documentation and technical writing skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Note: Students must be enrolled in a Co-op Program at an accredited post-secondary institution.
