Artsystems opened in 1983!
What do you think the 80’s looked like?
Images can be representational, abstract, or symbolic. Acceptable media include pencil, colored pencil,
soft or oil pastel, charcoal, crayon, pen and ink, marker, acrylic, watercolor, oil paint, collage, scratch art,
and digital. Please do not use the Art Systems name or type your own name in the image. Do not use
any copy righted images in your art work.
2013 Entry
WINNERS & AWARDS:
Entries will be judged on creativity,
originality, skill and age appropriateness. One winner will be selected from
each of the following age groups:
Kindergarten - Fifth grade
Sixth grade - Eighth grade
Ninth grade - Twelfth grade
The winners from each age group will
receive a $100.00 gift certificate for art
supplies from Art Systems of Florida and
will have their art featured on the cover
of the 2014-2015 school catalog.
Teachers of the winning students will
receive a $100.00 gift certificate for art
suplies from Art Systems of Florida.
2013 Entry
ARTWORK & SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Artwork must be 10” x 16” and in portrait format.
Each entry must be the original work of
one student only. One entry per student.
Do not frame or mat artwork.
Entries must be submitted as a digital file
in a .pdf, .png, or .tiff format. We prefer
(but do not require) that file names indicate whether it is the artwork or entry
form, as well as the student’s name and
school.
Each entry must be accompanied by a
completed and signed official entry form.
Entries that do not meet these
requirements will be disqualified.

CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. No purchase necessary. Contest open to legal residents of the Unites States of America.
Entries must be received by March 31st, 2015.
2. Enter by sending a digital file for the student’s artwork to [email protected] or by mailing digital image to
Art Systems of Florida. Art Systems is not responsible for lost, misdirected, late or postage due mail. ONE ENTRY
PER STUDENT. An official entry form must accompany each entry. Failure to include the official entry form will
disqualify work. All entries must be the entrant’s original creation and must not have been published or produced
previously. Submission of entry grants Art Systems any and all rights to the entry including the right to publish,
produce and use artwork in any way without limitation and without further compensation.
3. Entries will be judged before April 30th, 2015 by professional artists. Judging is based on the following criteria:
creativity, originality, skill and age appropriateness. Participants agree to be bound by these rules and the decision
of the judges, which are final. TEACHERS OF THE STUDENT WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY April 30th, 2015.
4. Prizes for teachers will be awarded to sponsoring teacher identified on the entry form. Prizes won by minors
will be awarded to a parent or legal guardian. In the event that one teacher has more than one winning student,
the teacher will receive only one set of prizes. All taxes on prizes are the responsibility of the winner. Prizes are not
transferable. No substitutions of prize allowed by winner. Non-cash prize is not redeemable for cash.
5. This form may be photocopied.
6. Images may be altered to fit specified areas in ads or the cover and inside cover of the catalog.
