Minneapolis Extra Rehearsals: Thursday at Lunch- Clarinet Sectional
The next Band Boosters Meeting and Minneapolis Parents meeting will be taking place on Wednesday, April 8th
at 7pm in the SBMS Lecture Theatre!
Any band students interested in ordering soft shell jackets should pick up order forms in the band
room. Ms. Gibson would like forms and money (full or deposit) returned by Friday before leaving for spring
break!
Students helping with Drama props meet every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at lunch in the
Art Room.
The Pas Local Awards and Bursaries booklets available in the SSC. The applications
(handwritten standard form or type online form) are available on the MBCI website. Deadline
for applications is March 26 (before spring break). Applications will not be accepted late!
Bold Eagle is a unique summer employment program that combines Aboriginal culture and teachings with military
training. Bold Eagle is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity that helps to develop valuable skills such as selfconfidence, self-discipline, teamwork, time management, respect and fitness to list but a few. The six week program is
conducted from early July to late August each year. Are you up to the Bold Eagle challenge? Apply before April 30th
each year. For more information or applications, see Ms. Hamilton or Mrs. Marlow.
Health Career Quest Summer Camp 2015-----If you are interested in an 8 day summer camp experience (July
18-25, 2015) that will allow you to explore a variety of health related careers, this might be the opportunity for you! If
you are currently in Grade 11 and/or are an Aboriginal/Metis student, come and pick up the application form from Mrs.
Marlow in Student Services. The deadline to apply is May 15, 2015, but the application form will take some time, so
come and pick one up if you are interested.

ATHLETICS/PHYSICAL EDUCATION
INTRAMURALS for the month of March: VOLLEYBALL
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:45-1:15pm.

Liam whitehead, Tyler Custer, All JV and SV players should have returned their uniforms by now. If you have not
done so already, have it in before Spring Break!
Wrestling Practices: Mondays in the SBMS Gym at 6:00 pm and Thursdays at 6:00 pm. All interested students are
welcome.
Run, Jump, Throw (Track and field conditioning) will be Mondays and Tuesdays 4pm-5pm at the
Wellness Centre. All are welcome. Bring indoor shoes and proper gym attire. For more information see Mr.
Dunham.

AWARDS/BURSARIES:
Manitoba Royal Canadian Legion Bursaries: If you are a son, daughter, grandchild, or great-grandchild of an ex
service member or of a deceased ex-service member, you are eligible for bursaries available from the Royal Canadian
Legion. Applications are available in the SSC. Deadline is July 31, 2015.
