-Seniors will meet w/ Josten’s in the Theater regarding graduation caps & gown orders
2 Due to a staff event, the library will be closed to students during 4th period tomorrow, Thursday, November 20th.
This includes both lunches. The library will be open for limited use during 2nd and 6th period that day.
3 The iQ Credit Union will not be open today due to the late start bell schedule.
COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES & EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES:
1 The Washington Council is having their Annual Transfer Fair today, Wednesday from 5:30-7:30pm in the
Gaiser Center at Clark College.
2 The University of Oregon will be in the Career Center tomorrow,Thursday after school. If you are interested in
attending this university, be sure to stop by.
3 We are having our annual Financial Aid night (also known as FAFSA) at CHS on Wednesday, December 3rd,
from 6:30-8pm. This event is free and will be a great resource for students who are planning on attending college
after graduation. You will gain important information about scholarship opportunities, financial aid grants and
loans, where to find them, how to apply and so much more.
SENIORS:
1 This is the last week to pre-order your Senior Sweatshirts at the ASB Office for $35 until this Friday Nov. 21st.
CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS:
1 The CHS DECA Chapter invites you to get involved in their annual DECA Week. They’ll be having a Toy
Drive, so please bring new toys to the Marketing Room and don’t forget to donate a $1 to the Make-a-Wish
Foundation at the Lunch Box.
2 CSU (Christian Students United) 1st meeting will be held this Friday, Nov. 21st during PLC in Room 704.
3 Lit Lovers will meet today at 2:30 in the Library.
4 Do you want a head start in preparing yourself for a career in business, marketing, or just wanted To
advance your business education? If you do come check out FBLA (Future Business Leaders or America).
Meetings are every Wednesday in the Career Center right after school at 2:30. We hope to see you there.
MISCELLANEOUS
1 The library is happy so many of you are checking out books, but now some of those are overdue. Lists are
posted on your grade level bulletin boards. Also posted are outstanding fines for lost books. Please return or
renew now—thank you.
2 Stuff the Bus has started now and will run through December 5th so bring your food items to your 1st period
teacher and the class with the highest points will win and pizza party!
3 Hey Guys! Burgerville Night for Stuff the Bus is tonight, Wednesday, Nov 19 from 4-8pm at Camas Burgerville.
Come eat some great burgers and support those in need because some of the proceeds from Burgerville will to go
the CHS Stuff the Bus!
4 Would you like to go on a trip to Belize in the summer of 2016? Plan ahead and sign up early to save $200! In
Belize you can explore two different ecosystems--- the jungle and coastline. We will hike through the forest, enjoy
a canopy tour and snorkel the Caribbean. In addition Belize’s history provides the chance to visit archaeological
sites of Lamanai and Xunantunich to learn about the Mayan culture and explore the ruins. To learn more- meet in
Room 508, Mrs. Dean’s room, at 6pm on any of the following dates – this Wed. Nov. 19 and Dec. 3. Save $200 if
you sign up before the end of the month! Only $95 to enroll. Please bring your parents to the meeting. This is not a
school sponsored event.
