countenance upon you and give you peace.
CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER: IN UNISON
Holy God, Father of us all, remind us of your promise given in our own baptism, and
renew our trust in you. You have called us from death to life and we offer ourselves
to you. Make us strong to obey your will and bind us to your Word, that we may
faithfully serve you and with your church through all ages praise and thank you for

~ A warm welcome The Rev. Harry McWilliams who leads us
in worship this morning. ~
Infant care is available during the service. Please feel free to keep your
little ones with you in church. For the nursery, go through the door at the
front of the sanctuary (right side). Once through, walk to the end of the
corridor where you will see the nursery. Washrooms are available in the
same corridor. Children are invited to attend Faith Finders during the
worship service. Our congregation follows the Presbyterian Church in
Canada Leading with Care policy, which seeks to ensure a “Climate of
Safety for Children, Youth and Vulnerable Adults”.
FAITH FINDERS: A Family Prayer
Dear God,
As we celebrate on this Palm Sunday help us to remember that day when all the adults and children waved palm
branches and cheered as Jesus entered Jerusalem as King. We know Jesus rose from the dead and is alive. Help us
to remember that he is our wonderful King and that we can praise him everyday! In Jesus’ name. Amen.

when we will review and discuss Mark Haddon’s
popular novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in
the Night-time, facilitated by Beth Mackay
Reilly. Narrated by a fifteen-year-old autistic savant
obsessed with Sherlock Holmes, this dazzling novel
weaves together an old-fashioned mystery, a
contemporary coming-of-age story, and a fascinating
excursion into a mind incapable of processing
emotions. Everyone is most welcome to join this
friendly group of readers.
KITCHEN CLEAN-UP – In an effort to tidy up the kitchen, we would ask
that you please collect any empty containers that may have been left behind
in the kitchen that belong to you. These items will be left for pick up on the
green table just outside of the kitchen area. Thank you!
WE WELCOME the recent return of Glenn Gibson to church after
recovering from an accident last fall. Glenn is being transported to and from
church by DARTS. A rotation is being set-up with members of the
congregation who are able to assist Glenn to and from the van before and
after church as well as taking him in his wheelchair to coffee time. If you are
willing to assist in the rotation, please contact either Gwynneth Simpson or
Beth Mackay Reilly.
PARKING – Please note that the handicapped parking spaces in the
alleyway are to be used by authorized handicapped vehicles only on Sunday
mornings. As well, if you are double parked in the alley, please be courteous
and make sure to move your vehicle as soon as the service has concluded.
Thank you!

ANTHEM – Hosanna to the Son of David
Hosanna to the Son of David. Blessed be He that cometh in the name
of the Lord. Blessed be the King of Israel that cometh in the name of
the Lord. Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest places. Hosanna
in the highest heavens.
ANTHEM – Ave verum corpus
William Byrd
Ave verum corpus, natum de Maria Virgine: vere passum,
immolatum in cruce pro homine: cuius latus perforatum unda fluxit
sanguine: esto nobis praegustatum mortis in examine. O dulcis, O
pie, O Jesu Fili Mariae, miserere mei. Amen. All hail, O true Body,
born of the virgin Mary, which in anguish to redeem us didst suffer
upon the cross; from whose pierced side came forth both blood and
water: be to us at our last hour the source of consolation. O loving,
O Holy, O Jesus, Thou Son of Mary, have mercy on me. Amen.
Tickets are available after church, at Sundays at Three, from choir
members, or from the office during the week.
