SENIORS: Soccer scholarship applications are due April 17th. Stop by the guidance office for more info.

ATHLETICS:
Boonville girls track won all three relays but still came up short for the evening falling to Vincennes 61-71. Taking
firsts for the evening were Mockobee in the 100, 200, Long Jump; Barker in the 3200; Hamilton in the 800;
Brandenberger in the 400; 4 x 800 relay of Willem, Hamilton, Barker and Brandenberger; 4x 100 relay of
Mockobee, Meleski, Lannan and Winsett; and the 4 x 400 relay of Hamilton, Meleski, Brandenberger and Willem.

The baseball team won again last night defeating Harrison 7 to 3, improving to 3 and 0 on the season. Nick and
Nate Pullum combined for 5 hits and Lane Miller hit a home run. (Coach Julian 4/14)
High School athletic physicals are April 28th. Before your physical can be done on the 28th you MUST see the nurse. You
will need a vision test, blood pressure and pulse taken and your height and weight recorded. Please do not wait until
the 24th to see the nurse…that will be TOO Late!! (Mrs. Hachmeister 4/8 – 23)
COMMUNITY EVENTS:
Looking for a community service project here is your chance. Boonville Now is sponsoring the semiannual Community
Pride Clean-up Day on Saturday, April 18th from 8-11. If you’re interested in participating bring your shovels, brooms,
rakes, weed eaters and gloves and meet on the southwest corner of the square. As a bonus lunch will be provided by
Main Street United Methodist Church from 11 - 12. You can call 812-897-6299 to register yourself or your team or by
emailing Steve Smith at [email protected]. (Mrs. Heuring 4/13 – 15)
Any student looking for summer work involving gardening, lawn work and landscaping is encouraged to call Judy Estes @

EXTRA/CO-CURRICULAR & CLUBS:
CURRENT PKOMS - Your end of the year planning meeting has been changed to Monday, April 20 th. This is wrong in
the agenda book. We will meet next Monday during Part C in the auxiliary gym. We will meet with freshmen for the
end of year party on Friday, April 24th. (Mrs. Flamion 4/14)
Incoming Juniors & Seniors: Are you outgoing and caring? Do you consider yourself to be a good role model? Would
you like to help BHS be a better place? If so, you should apply to become a PKOM mentor next year and help
freshmen with their transition to high school! Applications are available in the guidance office. BE SURE to review
MANDATORY dates with your parent/guardians before applying. We need you there to plan for the year and certainly
at Orientation!!  See Mrs. Flamion or Mrs. Ulrey for questions or more information. Applications are due Friday,

Reminder ALL choir students TOMORROW is the due date for the Amish Fundraiser. Please plan to get
those forms and money turned in to Mrs. Whitten before 4th period. (Mrs. Sullivan-Whitten 4/14)
Seniors- don’t forget to send in your pictures that you want on the senior breakfast video to
[email protected]! They can be pictures from any time just make sure they have mostly people from BHS’s
2015 class in them. We will be accepting pictures until the end of April so get them in ASAP! (Mr. Kilgour 4/13 – 15)
The guidance office has Prom dresses! Please stop by the guidance office to view the dresses or speak with a guidance
counselor. Prom is right around the corner, so don't delay in finding a dress! (Mrs. Taylor 4/7 – 21)
POLICY & PROCEDURE:
Dress Code Reminder!! Shorts should be no more than a credit card length from the
knee. We have had several violations in the past week. We appreciate your

The Boys’ restroom in the 100/300 hall will be closed the rest of the year due to continued vandalism!! (Mr.
