Today’s announcements for 10/22/2014 are as follows:
1. SPELLING BEE for 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th, 8th, 9th will be held TODAY @ 1:00pm in the High School Library.
There is a cash prize for the top 3 winners in each of the two Age Divisions (4-5-6 and 7-8-9). Spelling Bee
Packets are available in the office.

3. Jr High Girls Basketball Parents Night 6pm HOME against Mio
4. Change drive for Breast Cancer Awareness bucket is in the school office.

Freshman: Candle Orders and Money due TODAY
6. Juniors: Donut Money Due TODAY
7. Sergeant Helsel from the US Marines and Sergeant Bently from the US Airforce will be here during lunch
hour today.
8. Volleyball Scores:
JV Posen: 6,19,15
Varsity Posen: 25,25,21, 25
JV Mio: 25,25,12
Varsity Mio: 21,22,25,22
9. Trick-or-Treating will be held on Halloween Night, October 31st from 5:00pm – 6:30pm in the Village of
Posen.
10. "Operation Christmas Child" - Once again we have empty shoe boxes in the front lobby
available for those who would like to pack a box for a poor girl or boy from around the world for the
Christmas season. There is an instruction pamphlet for each box with instructions on how and what
to pack. Please include $7.00 for shipping costs. If you do not want to pack a box but would like to
contribute monetarily, checks may be made out to Samaritan Purse. The boxes are being collected
the week of November 17-20 and will be picked up on Friday, November 20 here at the school.

11. Junior Varsity & Varsity Girls’ Basketball sign up runs until Friday, October 24th, 3pm. Anyone wishing
to play basketball needs to sign up this week as we need to know where our numbers are.
