Attention Men
Volunteers are needed
for May to give a short devotional on
Wednesday evenings. A sign-up sheet is
on the foyer table.
Children’s Worship Needs You!
We are in need of a few
volunteers to help during
Children’s Worship. We
mostly need an extra pair of hands to help
with the younger ones. If you can help,
please sign-up or talk with Sherri Chenault
or Katie Heflin.
College Ministry
If anyone wants to help reach
out to the students at the Student Center, you are welcome
to come eat with us on Tuesday evenings
at 6:00 p.m. Even if you don’t cook or
help, strike up conversations. Opportunities abound each Tuesday to go into the
harvest.
Ladies’ Bible Class
Ladies Bible class meets each
Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the
multi-purpose room. All ladies
are invited! The class will dismiss for the
summer after the class on May 19.
Men’s Breakfast
The monthly men’s breakfast
will be on Saturday, May 2, 6:30
-8:00 a.m. in the multi-purpose
room. All men, all ages are
invited and encouraged to come and bring
a friend!
Heartland CCC Devo
Sunday, May 3 At 2:30 p.m.
is our next opportunity to
lead worship at Heartland.
Participants are needed for fellowship,
singing and encouraging the residents.
Please make plans to come. Your presence will be a blessing.
Ladies’ Bible Study
Ladies, a new 6 week Bible
Study will begin on Monday
nights starting May 4 at 6:00
p.m. The Study will be Breath,
The Life of God In Us. Everyone is welcome, if you desire a workbook, please let
the office or Cozetta Moore know.
Baby Blessing
On Sunday, May 10 our elders
will have a special blessing for
all new babies in our church
family that have been born
since Mothers’ Day, 2014. This
will be a special time to introduce the new
babies to the church and for the church to
have the opportunity to bless our young
families. The new babies we know about
are Ezra Aguilar, Dane Chenault, Kendyn
Martin and Harleigh Pinkert. If you know
of a baby we may have missed or if your
baby will be participating, please inform
the church office by Monday, May 4.
Also, we will need a few pictures of each
baby, please email or bring them by the
office.
Senior Sunday
We will honor our High
School and Kindergarten
graduates on Sunday,
May 24. More details are coming soon.
4th Sunday Pot Luck Luncheon
On Sunday May 24, we will
have our monthly pot luck
luncheon after the morning
worship service in the multipurpose room. Please bring enough food
for your family and extra to share with
guests.
