Statement of Need
This course was designed to provide an annual
exposure and review of a range of diagnostic and
therapeutic procedures currently practiced in
interventional pulmonology. Diagnostic procedures
include convex EBUS, radial probe ultrasound and
navigational bronchoscopy as sampling for diagnosis
is extremely important. Therapeutic procedures
in need of exposure and review are bronchial
thermoplasty, medical thoracoscopy, endobronchial
valves, and rigid bronchoscopy. Many institutional
pulmonologists, as well as community physicians, can
benefit greatly with an annual review of procedures
and techniques.
Accreditation
The University of Cincinnati is accredited by the
Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical
Education to provide continuing medical education
for physicians.
Designation Statement
The University of Cincinnati designates this Live
activity for a maximum of 7.5 AMA PRA CME Category 1
Credits™. Participants should only claim the credit
